They put out their first album, 'The Curse of the Damned,' the following year. Their sound was heavy metal with lyrics that leaned into witchcraft and the supernatural, which got them some attention and some trouble from the start.
They kept recording through the early 1980s with albums like 'Lords of Sin' and 'The Witching Hour.' A song from that period, 'Blessed Be,' became one of their better-known tracks. The lineup shifted over time, with Lloyd staying at the center. They got back together with Jackman in 2004 for an album called 'The Iron Age.'
Their catalog includes songs like 'Death Of Innocence,' 'Hell Hath No Fury,' and 'To The Devil A Daughter.' They built a specific kind of heavy metal that appealed to listeners interested in darker, occult themes.
