Xaveco Novo formed in 2003 with vocalist Roberta Sá, guitarist Felipe Pinaud, bassist Alexandre Cavalo, and drummer Pretinho da Serrinha. Their self-titled debut album came out the following year and included the song "Nada Se Compara a Ti." The band's early lineup also included keyboardist Rodrigo Vicente, guitarist Davi Moraes, and mandolin player Oswaldo Rabello.
Roberta Sá left the group in 2008 to pursue solo work. Xaveco Novo released their second album, "De Volta ao Começo," in 2009. They put out several more records over the next decade, including "O Caminho das Águas" in 2011, "Tudo Bem" in 2014, and "Futuros Amantes" in 2018.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
