Xell came together in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. The band had four members: River Danko on vocals, Elijah Cruz on guitar, Theo Reyes on bass, and Logan Hart on drums. Their debut album was called 'Ignite.'
They're best known for the song 'Heat,' which got a lot of rock radio play. They put out other albums like 'Fire and Ice' and 'Ashes to Ashes.' Some people criticized their lyrics for being too explicit or dark, but they kept making music.
They toured a fair amount. Their sound had heavy guitars and they sometimes worked in elements from metal or grunge, but it was all pretty straightforward rock at the core.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
