XFactor1 was a Colombian rock band that formed in 1998. Their debut album 'Factor X' came out in 2002, and its lead single 'The Stroke' became their most recognizable track. The band's lineup included Juan Carlos 'Chino' Moreno on vocals, Juan Diego 'Pocho' Gómez on bass, Álvaro Rodríguez on drums, and Ricardo 'Ricky' Arbeláez on guitar.
They released several albums over the following years, including 'No Podrás' in 2004, 'Somos Uno' in 2006, and 'Adicto a Ti' in 2008. Their catalog also includes '10 Años de Rock' from 2010, 'Ahora' from 2013, and 'Todo Cambia' from 2017.
In the early 2000s, some critics questioned whether the band was too derivative of foreign rock acts. They kept making music regardless, and their songs found an audience across Latin America.
