Xfrostx is a Brazilian metal band that started in São Paulo around 2005. They were originally called Frost, with Leandro Ferreira on vocals, Rafael Domingues on guitar, Thiago Oliveira on bass, and Rodrigo Oliveira on drums. After Ferreira died in 2009, they brought in Felipe Godoy as the new singer and changed their name to Xfrostx.
Their song 'Muitas Perguntas Para Poucas Respostas' became their most recognized track. The band put out an EP with that title in 2013, and followed it with the album 'Entre a Vontade e o Caos' in 2015. They've also released a live album and another studio record since then.
Xfrostx's lyrics often deal with heavy themes like despair and mental illness, which has drawn both strong reactions from listeners and some criticism. The current lineup still includes Godoy, Domingues, and the Oliveira brothers.
