Xiron formed in 2012 around vocalist Erebos and guitarist Elysium. Their debut album 'Adorer of Mortality' came out in 2014, with the title track establishing their sound. They followed it with 'Eulogy for the Living' in 2016 and 'The Veil of the Dying' in 2019.
Their songs like 'Calamity Howler' and 'The Wicked Kings End' work with themes of mortality and darker human experiences. The band includes bassist Thanatos and drummer Charon alongside the founding members.
They've built a catalog that leans into atmospheric melodies and introspective lyrics without much concern for genre boundaries. The music doesn't aim for broad appeal so much as it follows its own particular mood.
