XONADX formed in Monterrey, Mexico around the mid-2000s with vocalist Esaul "Pato" Martinez, guitarists Alejandro "Alex" and Javier "Javi" Cavazos, bassist Carlos "Charly" Nava, and drummer Luis "Tavo" Cavazos. They released their debut album "Destino Covarde" in 2008, with the title track becoming a notable song for them.

After that first album, they put out several more including "No Hay Salida" in 2010, "Alfa" in 2013, and "Fénix" in 2016. The band's lineup changed over time, with bassist Charly Nava leaving in 2015 and being replaced by Enrique "Kike" Martinez.

Some members have worked on other projects alongside the band. Esaul Martinez released a solo album called "Despertar" in 2019, and Alejandro Cavazos formed a side band called Los Blenders.
