Xordeal formed in Finland in the early 2000s around lead vocalist and guitarist Jarno Salomaa. The lineup included guitarist Ville Askolin, bassist Saku Moilanen, and drummer Toni Keranen. They released four albums between 2005 and 2013, starting with their self-titled debut in 2005.
Their 2007 track "A Wonderland Insane" became a notable song in their catalog, with its heavy guitar work and intense vocals. Other songs like "Demonhearted" and "Epoch Of Unlight" followed a similar aggressive approach. The band's live shows were known for their intensity.
In 2014, guitarist Ville Askolin passed away. The group's recorded output includes albums like "Careless Whispers" from 2008 and "Ravenous" from 2013.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
