Xotirado was a Brazilian forró band known for their energetic accordion-driven sound. Their song "Capricho da Natureza" became particularly popular, helping establish their presence in the genre. The group featured multiple accordionists including Chambinho do Acordeon and Chicão do Acordeon, with Vavá Moreno handling vocals.
They released several albums in the 2010s, starting with their 2010 debut "Xotirado: O Melhor dos Forrós." Their 2012 album "Capricho da Natureza" featured the title track that became one of their best-known songs. Other recordings include "O Forró do Xotirado" from 2015 and a live album recorded in Goiânia in 2017.
Like many regional Brazilian bands, Xotirado faced the typical challenges of the music industry, including financial pressures and the competitive nature of the scene. Their music maintained a traditional forró foundation while incorporating contemporary elements that appealed to both established fans and newer listeners.
