Yan Buzz formed in 2018 as a four-piece Brazilian band with Yannick Ferreira on vocals, Duda Andrade on guitar, Leandro Caetano on bass, and Gabriel Farias on drums. Their music pulls from pop, rock, and reggae, and they put out their first album in 2019.
That 2019 album included 'Acabou (part. Douglas Ferreira),' which became a hit in Brazil. They followed it with two more albums over the next couple years, 2020's 'Melhor do Mundo' and 2021's 'Nosso Lugar.'
In 2020, there was some noise about the melody of 'Acabou' being similar to another song, but the band handled it and kept going. They've also released 'Este Poema É Uma Mentira,' another track that shows up in their catalog.
