Yang Zi formed in Beijing in 2015 with four members: Lin Xiaofeng on vocals, Wang Yuxuan on guitar, Zhang Jingyi on bass, and Li Hongwei on drums. Their 2016 single 'Love Frost' became their breakout track, and they've since released songs like 'Unparalleled In The World' and 'Milk Bread'.
In 2020, bassist Zhang Jingyi left the band and was replaced by Chen Yifan. That same year they released 'Crimson Dawn,' and in 2021 they put out 'Silent Winter,' a collaboration with vocalist Guo Ding.
