Yann Dias is a Brazilian singer from Salvador, Bahia, where he grew up hearing samba, axé, and reggae. He started making music early, and his sound pulls from those local rhythms along with R&B, pop, and alternative rock.
In 2019, he put out "Só Para Ti," a ballad featuring Annudi that got some attention for its straightforward vocal delivery and lyrics about love and longing. After that, he released more singles and EPs.
There was some criticism of his style early on, which some found too experimental, but he kept working.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
