Y'Anna Crawley came out of Nashville with a debut single called "The Promise" in 2016. The song became a hit, and she put out an album with the same name that year. She followed it with records called "Untethered" in 2018 and "Wildfire" in 2020.
Her music drew from R&B and country, and she worked with guitarist Ethan James. Some listeners questioned how personal her songs really were, and she got attention for speaking her mind on social issues. She kept making music through it.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
