Yannel formed in San Juan, Puerto Rico in the early 2000s, with vocalist Yandel Candelario and producer Wisin Mena at the center of the group. Their debut album 'Los Vaqueros: El Regreso' came out in 2004, followed by records like 'De Otra Manera' and 'El Sobreviviente'.
Their song 'A Prueba de Balas' became a notable track for them, alongside others like 'Al Otro Lado de La Luna' and 'Dueña de Mi Libertad'. They worked in a space that mixed salsa, reggaeton, and pop.
Yannel separated in 2013 and reunited in 2018. The group's catalog includes the albums mentioned and songs like 'Eternosotros' and 'Tau'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
