Yasmin Carrera grew up in São Paulo, where she started singing in a local band around age 18. Her song 'Me Cativa' with Indie Space and Midas came out in 2019 and got attention in Brazil. She also worked with Indie Space on 'Memórias perdidas' and with Pedro Della Favera on 'Musa'.
Her lyrics sometimes drew criticism for being too direct about sexuality, though some listeners appreciated that approach. In 2020, she took a break from music after dealing with depression and anxiety, then returned to performing later.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
