Yasmin Fonseca came out of Rio de Janeiro in the mid-2000s. Their song "You and Me Together Forever" got some attention internationally, which was unusual for a Brazilian band at that time.
They put out albums like Our Love Story in 2008 and Forever and Always in 2011. The bassist Ricardo Silva was accused of plagiarism at one point, though the band defended him.
Their later records included Rhythm of Our Hearts in 2015 and Bridges of Love in 2019. The lineup stayed mostly the same with Yasmin Fonseca on vocals and guitar, Ricardo Silva on bass, Thiago Mendes on drums, and Maria Santos on keyboards and vocals.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
