Yasuri Yamilleth came together in the early 2000s in Monterrey, Mexico, with a sound that mixed regional Mexican styles like cumbia, banda, and norteño with pop elements. The group included Yasuri Yamilleth on vocals, Francisco "Paco" Cárdenas on accordion, Hugo Gutiérrez on bass, and Ricardo "Richie" Vargas on drums.
In 2009, they put out "La Gilette," a song about love and betrayal that connected with listeners. The track became their most recognizable work, though the existing record of their output seems to stop there.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
