YATTE is a Japanese alternative rock band. They released their debut EP, 'Time Wasted', in 2002, which included the title track. The EP's raw emotion and melodies helped establish their presence.
Their 2004 album, 'The Silent Room', received critical attention for its introspective lyrics and atmospheric sound. Some critics found its themes dark, which sparked debate. The band continued with EPs like 'Lost in Time' in 2007 and 'Time Remains' in 2010, often exploring concepts related to time and memory.
YATTE's lineup includes Ryuichi Sakamoto on vocals and guitar, Tomoaki Ishizuka on bass and backing vocals, and Yushin Kawashima on drums and percussion. They released another full-length album, 'Echoes of the Past', in 2012.
