Yaveh Tsebaoth formed in 2007 around frontman Israel Cruz, a former street performer who started the band. Their debut album 'Raro Amor' included a title track that became widely known in Christian music circles.
Later records like 'EspĂritu Santo' and 'Fuego' incorporated rock, pop, and Latin music elements while keeping spiritual themes central.
Cruz's public statements on social issues, including his opposition to same-sex marriage, drew criticism from some listeners and religious groups. The band continued performing despite these controversies.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
