YB Band formed in Indonesia in 2005. Their song 'A Flying Butterfly' became well-known, though some conservative listeners criticized their music for sounding too Western. The band included Yusuf Bahtiar on vocals and guitar, Bayu Suardi on bass, Fajar Yulianto on drums, and Iwan Abdulrahman on keyboards and vocals.
They released albums like 'The Beginning,' 'Second Chance,' and 'Forever in My Heart.' At one point they worked with the singer Glenn Fredly. Their music faded from popularity over time, but 'A Flying Butterfly' stuck around in Indonesian pop culture.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
