The Negative Of July

If I make it through this,

if I ever see your face again,

will I ever know what you really think of me?

Then, maybe you should be rid of me.

I was never even apart of you.

Hopeless of the loss of my love,

Hopeless of the loss of my life.

Betrayed by my own love, denying that you weren't holding my life.

Denial is an evil word.

As the night slowly becomes day and the clouds clear away for the heat to set in.

It was after the burial that your voice made my ears bleed,

my tears were being replaced by the hundreds of souls around me.

Pathetic and heart broken is how it is set in,

Conventional to a death is all I have excepted,
