Yellow Season formed in Stockholm around 2016. Their debut album 'In Between' came out in 2017, followed by 'The Grey EP' in 2020. The band's current members are Klara Andersson on vocals, Oscar Hjelm on guitar and vocals, Niklas Johansson on bass, and Johan Tjärnberg on drums.
Their song 'Can You Feel It' became a notable single, and they also have a track called 'Remedy.' The music tends toward indie rock with some folk and electronic touches, often built around atmospheric textures and driving rhythms.
In 2018, the band dealt with allegations of misconduct that led to one founding member leaving. They kept working after that, with the remaining members continuing to write and record together.
