Yerdis formed in 2015 with Alejandro González on vocals, Juan Sánchez handling production, and Carolina Pérez on percussion. Their track 'Tus Redes' came out in 2017 and became their most recognizable song.
They work with electronic beats and Latin rhythms, drawing from Colombian cumbia and reggaeton. Their lyrics touch on love and social themes, though some listeners have found their approach too commercial at times.
After 'Tus Redes,' they released the album 'Amanecer' in 2019 and followed it with 'Renacer' in 2022.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
