Yiko

Yiko is a London-based electronic duo formed in 2015, consisting of Kieran Hebden and James Blake. Their music blends electronic dance elements with melodic pop, anchored by Hebden's production and Blake's distinctive vocals. They released their debut album 'Night Swimming' in 2018, which included the track 'Dancing.'

That song became their most recognizable work, a club-ready anthem that helped define their early sound. Their second album 'Spectre' followed in 2021, continuing their exploration of atmospheric electronic textures. The duo has performed internationally, though their experimental approach has sometimes polarized listeners.

Hebden brings an experimental electronic background to the project, while Blake contributes his falsetto vocals and introspective songwriting. Together they create music that sits between dancefloor energy and more reflective moments, without settling neatly into either category.
