Yim Jae Beom started out as a member of the South Korean group H.O.T., which debuted in 1996. He left the group in 2001 and put out his first solo album, 'Here, I Stand,' the following year. The song 'Sarang' from that album became a hit.
He took a break from music in 2003 after some personal trouble, then came back to release more albums. His later work includes records like 'The Road Less Traveled' and 'Unchained.'
Yim has worked with other musicians from time to time, including former H.O.T. members Lee Jae Won and Tony An, and producers like J.Y. Park.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
