Yin Lin and Muhan are a Chinese musical duo who gained attention in 2018 with their version of "Yearn of East Wind (Mo Dao Zu Shi)" for the animated series of the same name. Yin Lin handles vocals, while Muhan writes lyrics and composes. They've released other material including an EP called "A Thousand Year's Echo."
Yin Lin, born Lin Minmin, was previously an opera singer. Muhan, born Ding Ziming, draws on Chinese poetry and culture for his lyrics. Their work on "Yearn of East Wind" connected with fans of the series and helped establish their presence.
Beyond that song, they've put out various singles and collaborated with other artists like pianist Lang Lang on special projects. Their music ranges from ballads to more upbeat tracks.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
