Yiyo y los Chicos 10 formed in Caracas, Venezuela in 1975 with Yiyo Sarante on lead vocals, Freddy Bravo on guitar, Argenis Brito on bass, and Juan Carlos Pérez on drums. They worked in a style that mixed Venezuelan rhythms with salsa, and their song 'Corazón de Miel' became particularly well-known.
Their early years involved some financial difficulties and changes in the lineup.
The band recorded several albums before disbanding in the early 1990s. Other songs in their catalog include 'Donde Estará Mi Primavera', 'Hasta El Sol de Hoy', and 'Soy Más Feliz Que Tu'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
