Ynoiasha formed in Brazil in the early 2000s as a blues trio with guitarist and vocalist Renato Alves, bassist Adriano "Adn" Correia, and drummer Fernando "Biano" Salles. Their debut album was called "Meu Primeiro Blues," which shares its name with one of their songs.
Their music mixed blues with rock and some Brazilian rhythms. They put out other albums like "Casa de Blues" and "Motel Paradiso." The lyrics sometimes got them attention for dealing with subjects like addiction, which some listeners found too raw.
They kept that same three-piece lineup for most of their run. Songs like "Nevermind" and "Ziplock" show the straightforward, blues-rooted sound they were known for.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
