Yo-Yo Diperiii formed in Seoul in 2015. The group had four members: Haru on vocals, Minseo on guitar, Yerin on bass, and Jiwoo on drums. They played small gigs for a while before things started to click.
In 2017, they put out 'BANG BANG BANG!' and it caught on. The song had a simple, explosive energy that worked. They followed it with tracks like 'Da Glock Baby' and 'Holla (WASSUP BITCH!)', which kept that same direct, high-impact feel.
Their debut album 'Electro-Pop Revolution' came out in 2018. It mixed electronic beats with pop structures, though the singles were usually the loudest things on it. The writing was straightforward, built around hooks more than complexity.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
