Yohanan

Yohanan formed in 2007 with David Perez on vocals, Miguel Angel Caballero on guitar, Jose Antonio Molina on bass, and Pedro Sanchez on drums. They worked in a space between Spanish folk, flamenco, and pop rock, with Perez writing most of the material.

Their song "Historia Real" became their most recognized track, a ballad built around Perez's emotional delivery and the band's acoustic arrangements. The lyrics tell a story of separated lovers, which connected with listeners who appreciated their straightforward approach.

In 2010, guitarist Miguel Angel Caballero was involved in a car accident that interrupted their momentum. The band continued working afterward, though their output became less frequent.
