Yolanda Parchís was a Spanish girl group that formed in the 1970s. The original lineup included Yolanda Ventura, Gemma Prat, Vicky Larraz, Maribel Sanz, and Reyes Monforte. Their name came from the popular board game, which fit their lighthearted image.
They had their biggest hit with "Cuando Me Miras," a song that still gets played on Spanish radio decades later. The group broke up in 1984 after several years of performing together.
Four of the original members reunited in 2008, with Yolanda, Gemma, Vicky, and Maribel returning to perform as Yolanda Parchís. Reyes Monforte left the group again in 2013, leaving the other four to continue as a quartet.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
