Yoolee formed in Seoul in 2016 with vocalist Yurim, rapper Seongwoo, and instrumentalist Junho. Their debut single 'I Promise You' did well on Korean music charts, giving them an early foothold. They followed it with albums like 'Love Spectrum' and 'Eternal Promise'.
Their music mixes pop, R&B, and hip-hop, with lyrics that lean toward personal themes. Songs like 'Find a Way' and 'I Promise You' show their range from melodic to more rhythmic tracks. Yurim's vocals and Seongwoo's rapping give the group a dual texture.
There were some reports of internal disagreements and management issues as they got more attention, but they kept releasing music through it. They haven't had a major public breakup or long hiatus, just the ordinary friction that comes with being in a band.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
