Young Cream came up in the late 1960s with a sound that mixed psychedelic rock and soul. Their song "042" got some attention, though the details around its reception are a bit hazy. They put out a debut album called "Astral Echoes" in 1969, followed by records like "Electric Ecstasy" and "Cosmic Symphony."
Their lineup included Ethan "Eclipse" Reed on vocals and guitar, James "Thunder" Bell on bass, and William "Storm" Hayes on drums. An earlier drummer named Michael "Raven" Carter had left before Hayes joined. The band broke up in 1975.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
