Young F formed in Medellín, Colombia in 2003 with Freddy Calderon, Wilmar Roldan, and Esteban Acevedo. They put out their debut album 'Juntos Por Siempre' the following year. Their track 'Las Mujeres de Ahora' became one of their better-known songs.
They released several albums through the late 2000s, including 'El Cartel de la Calle' in 2006 and 'La Historia de las Mujeres' in 2008. Their music drew from reggaeton and Colombian rhythms, and they worked with artists like Daddy Yankee and Wisin & Yandel.
Calderon handled most of the rapping and vocals, while Roldan produced the beats. The group faced some criticism for their lyrics and had a few legal issues, but they kept recording through 2010's 'El Fenómeno'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
