Younghearted formed in the early 2000s when Jonathan Yudkin began collaborating with Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls. Their debut album 'The Same Sky' came out in 2004, with the title track becoming a fan favorite. The band's 2006 album 'Jigsaw' drew criticism from some conservative listeners for its exploration of same-sex relationships in country music.
They kept making music through that period, releasing 'Four Corners' in 2009 and 'Restless' in 2015. Their most recent album is 2023's 'Sun Numero', which includes the track of the same name and marks a return to more acoustic arrangements.
