Yourself formed as a Brazilian alternative rock band in the early 2000s with Marcelo Hayena on vocals and guitar, Sandro Casagrande on bass, Gustavo Castro on drums, and Everton Pesente on guitar. Their debut album, 'Sinto Muito Por Existir,' came out in 2003 and found an audience in Brazil.
In 2004, the single 'Mais Um Dia Sem Você!' became a hit. The band released several more albums, including 'Aqui Estamos Nós' in 2005 and 'Onde Se Encontram A Alma e A Razão' in 2007. Other songs like 'Mudar' and 'O Que Eu Sempre Quis!' are part of their catalog.
They faced some internal conflicts and lineup changes over time, but kept recording. Later albums included 'Minas Ao Vivo' in 2009, 'O Que Resta' in 2012, and 'O Mundo É Nosso' in 2016.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
