Youth In Circles formed in 2018 around lead vocalist and producer DAVE, with KRIS on guitar and MARK on drums. Their debut single "Cameo" found an audience online, and they followed it with "Crazy Days (feat. LUIGI.)," which became their breakout track. The song's chorus and LUIGI.'s guest vocals connected with listeners and helped push the band beyond its initial following.
In 2019 they released an EP called "Youth," and in 2021 put out their first full-length album, "Circles." That record included songs like "Runaway," "Chasing Ghosts," and the title track. Their lyrics sometimes touched on social themes, which drew attention both positive and critical.
A legal dispute with their former label in 2020 created some uncertainty, but the group kept working. They're based in Los Angeles, and their sound pulls from electro-pop, indie rock, and hip-hop without settling neatly into one category.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
