Youvie & The Nuno were an Indonesian pop band formed around vocalist and guitarist Youvie Widianto. They released their debut album 'Janji Suci' in 1996, which included the title track that became one of their most recognizable songs.
The band's lineup included Andi Armand on guitar, Didit Tejo on keyboards, and Reno Andreas on drums. They followed their debut with several more albums through the mid-2000s, including 'Mentariku' in 1998, 'Tentang Kita' in 2001, 'Di Atas Awan' in 2003, and 'Seperti Bintang' in 2005.
In 2002, bassist Bemby Noor passed away. The band continued performing and recording for some time after that, though their output slowed in later years.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
