Yu Mato formed in Brasília around 2012, with vocalist Te Levo Pro Céu and guitarist Pedro Gambogi at the core. They put out a debut EP called "Primavera" that year, which introduced their sound. By 2016, they released their first full album, "A Vida de um Astronauta," which included the song "Te Levo Pro Céu." That track became one of their most recognizable pieces.
Their lineup grew to include Daniel Almeida on drums, Diego Fonseca on bass, and Fernando Aldigueri on keyboards. They've put out a few more albums since then, like "Sinfonia do Caos" in 2018 and "Paraíso" in 2021. Another song people know is "Tudo Mudou."
