Archive material and source history
Yūichi Ikuzawa started playing music professionally in 1998 with a band called Ikuzawar. The group put out several records, but it was their 2004 single 'Warriors' that really connected with people. The song got used in some films and TV shows, which helped it find listeners outside Japan.
In 2010, the original Ikuzawar lineup changed when bassist Shinichi Okamoto and drummer Takuya Yamamoto left to do other things. Ikuzawa kept the band name going with different musicians after that. He was born in Tokyo in 1977.
