Yuji is a Japanese band formed around vocalist and guitarist Yuji Imai, with Akira Sasaki on guitar, Taro Mori on bass, and Jiro Sato on drums. Their debut single 'Old Love' came out in 1989 and became their most recognizable song. They followed with albums like 'Memories' in 1991 and 'Reflections' in 1993, then took a break before returning with 'The Silent Years' in 1998.
Their sound tends toward melancholic ballads with atmospheric guitar work and introspective lyrics. Another track, 'Adélia,' appears among their top songs. The band went through a temporary breakup in the early 2000s but reunited around 2010 and have continued performing since.
