Yüksek Sadakat formed in 1997 when Kutlu Özmakin, Kenan Doğulu, and Serkan Özdoğan came together after their previous band Vega ended. They released their self-titled debut album in 2002, which included songs like "Belki Alışman Lazım" and "İstanbul." The album found an audience in Turkey, establishing them as a rock band with pop appeal.
Their 2006 album Kafile gave them one of their most recognizable songs, "Hiçbir Şey Yerini Tutamaz." Other tracks like "İçimde Yağmur" and "İhtimaller Denizi" became staples for listeners who connected with their melodic approach. The band's lineup changed over time, with Kenan Doğulu leaving in 2006 to work on solo material.
Yüksek Sadakat released five studio albums between 2002 and 2015. Their music earned them some recognition in Turkey, including a MÜ-YAP Golden Butterfly Award for Best Rock Album in 2003. The current members are Kutlu Özmakin, Serkan Özdoğan, Cenk Erdoğan, and Gürkan Özkan.
