The band included guitarist Pedro Ivo, bassist Danilo Montenegro, and drummer Robson Fernandes. Their debut album "Forró Rock" came out in 2010, mixing those traditional rhythms with rock energy.
Their 2013 album "Antes de Ir" gave them a breakthrough, with the title track becoming a chart-topping ballad in Brazil. Songs like "Valoriza" and "Ela" show their blend of forró roots with pop and reggae touches. They've kept releasing albums, including "Nosso Mundo" in 2016 and "Além do Horizonte" in 2022.
Fernandes sometimes drew attention for speaking out on social issues, and the band worked with indigenous musicians on cultural projects. Their sound stayed grounded in northeastern traditions while incorporating other influences, heard in tracks like "Fique a vontade" and "1, 2, 3."
