Yuri H2 formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s as a trio with vocalists Yuri Gonçalves dos Santos and Izabelle Campos, plus guitarist Leandro César. Their sound mixed sertanejo with pop and rock elements, and they had a breakthrough with the song "Curtindo a Vida." In 2010, Izabelle Campos left the band for health reasons, and Vanessa Sobrinho joined as a new vocalist. They kept recording and touring after that change.
