Yzzy formed in São Paulo in 2015 with Edu Krieger on guitar and vocals, Rafael Rolim on bass and vocals, and Felipe Torres on drums. They signed with Sony Music Brazil and released their debut album 'Loop Infinito' in 2018.
The album's lead single 'Dois Mundos' became a major hit in Brazil, topping charts and gaining international attention. Another track from that period, 'Nos Teus Pés,' also appears among their most recognized songs.
In 2020 they followed up with a second album called 'Ether,' which took a more introspective and experimental direction compared to their debut. The band faced some criticism over lyrical content and live performances during their rise, but continued working according to their own artistic vision.
