Zabumba Bacamarte is a Brazilian folk band from the northeast region. Their song "No Tabuleiro do Mundo" became particularly well-known, featuring guest vocals from Elba Ramalho. They've released several albums including Bumba Meu Boi in 2011, No Tabuleiro do Mundo in 2014, Ciranda do Mundo in 2017, and Tambor de Fogo in 2020.
The group includes Marcos Xavier on vocals and percussion, Cláudio Marcolino on guitar and vocals, Antônio Carlos on zabumba and vocals, and Marco Pereira on bass and vocals. Their music often addresses social issues, which has sometimes led to canceled concerts and radio bans in Brazil.
