Zach Hunt formed his band in 2005 and released a debut album called The Road to Nowhere. The album included the song Coke and Rum, which got some attention. He also recorded other tracks like Cold Wind and Shadow Of Former Glory.
Coke and Rum became his most recognized song, though its lyrics about drug use drew criticism from some quarters. In 2010, Hunt was arrested for drug possession and spent time in jail, which affected his career and relationships.
After getting out, he went through rehab and kept making music. He put out albums like The Devil's Playground in 2007 and Songs from the Road in 2012, with bandmates including Ben Rogers on bass and Dave Smith on drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
