Zackoringa is a Brazilian duo made up of Rafael Simões and Mariana Aydar. They started playing around Rio de Janeiro, doing open mics and local festivals. Their first album came out in 2012, and it was called simply 'Zackoringa.' The song 'Minha Duo' became their breakout hit.
In 2015, there was some noise about their song 'Meu Amor' sounding too much like someone else's work. They said it was just a coincidence. Then Rafael left the duo in 2017 for personal reasons, leaving Mariana to carry on with the name.
Mariana kept writing and performing as Zackoringa. They've put out a few albums and singles since then, including songs like 'Eu Te Amo' and 'Canção da Praia.'
