Zafiro Rap came up in the Dominican Republic, putting out their debut album 'Sentimiento' in 2003. That record included the track 'Dime,' which became one of their better-known songs.
Their music often worked with social themes, which sometimes drew criticism for being too direct. The group's sound pulled from hip-hop and reggaeton, along with other Latin styles.
Later albums like 'Los Reyes de la Calle' (2005) and 'La Realidad' (2007) followed. By 2014, they had released 'Zafiro Rap: A Otro Nivel,' which showed them trying out some different musical approaches.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
