Zage is an Austrian electro-pop duo formed by Peter Lehner and Katharina Windbichler. They met in a Vienna recording studio and started working together, eventually releasing their first album 'Portraits' in 2012. Their music tends toward ambient electronica with dreamy pop elements, and they've put out two more albums since then: 'Veil' in 2016 and 'Ruins' in 2019.
Their track 'Away' got a remix treatment from Eloquentia featuring Ekatherina April, which became one of their more recognizable songs. The remix adds vocal layers to their typically atmospheric sound. Zage's work has generally stayed within the electro-pop and ambient territory, with 'Ruins' reportedly exploring somewhat darker themes than their earlier material.
But that didn't seem to affect their output much, they released another album the following year and kept working in their established style.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
